During the lockdown for COVID, I would go walking around the closed-down college campus nature trails.  Only one section was open but it gave me so much joy to get exercise and be with nature.   One day, I started a friendship with a little deer.  He would stomp his feet each time I saw him.  (Perhaps being territorial).  He was small and just learning, but he would meet me at the entrance to the trail and stomp his foot, thus the name Stompy.   I would feed him corn and he would stomp waiting for me to feed him.  It was a very bright spot during a very sad time.  I decided to paint this picture to always remind me of the special deer that made my life so much brighter.

The prints are printed on high-quality, heavyweight card stock paper, sometimes the paper will be a linen-textured blend.  They will NOT have my watermark on them.
